Introducing SKuLZ Coins
SKuLZ Coins are a collection of 6 uniquely designed NFTs on the Polygon network. These coins will be rewarded to SKuLZ early and active community members via an airdrop. The more coins you hold on the day of the mint, the higher on the allow-list you will be and the more SKuLZ you will be able to mint.
Earn ultra-rare coins by doing extraordinary things for the community.
Breakdown
As stated earlier, there will be 6 coins available to the community that can be earned by contributing and being active early. There will be a limited supply of each coin.
Types of Coins
- Corroded (200 max supply): distributed to OG SKuLZ members.
- Midnight Terrazzo (1,000 max supply): wallet submission opened to members in Discord by 2/1/22.
- Red Terrazzo (3,000 max supply): distributed to members in Discord by 2/24/22.
- Nickel (4,000 max supply): distributed to members with 3+ Discord invites.
- Copper (3,000 max supply): distributed to members with 6+ Discord invites.
- Bronze (2,000 max supply): distributed to members with 10+ Discord invites.
Tiered Allow-List
On the date of the mint, if a wallet owns:
- 1 coin, they earn the ability to mint 1 allow-listed NFT
- 2 coins, they earn the ability to mint 2 allow-listed NFTs
- 3 coins, they earn the ability to mint 3 allow-listed NFTs
- 4 coins, they earn the ability to mint 5 allow-listed NFTs
- 5 coins, they earn the ability to mint 7 allow-listed NFTs
- 6 coins, they earn the ability to mint 10 allow-listed NFTs
Why are we doing this?
After watching many projects go about the allow-list process very similarly for a long time, we wanted to re-imagine what the allow-list process can be. Many people who don’t have the time to be as active as they’d like in a community or who are too late to a project never get the opportunity to earn an allow-list spot.
By centering the allow-list process around a secondary collection of NFTs, we believe we will ensure that:
- those who are active and early contributors to the community can earn more coins
- those who potentially missed out but are seeking allow-list spots can purchase coins on the secondary market
By airdropping SKuLZ coins to members on the Polygon network, we also hope to make the collection (both SKuLZ coins and SKuLZ itself) more accessible to those who may not be able to afford the high fees associated with using Ethereum mainnet.
